- Carry out surveys and sampling

- Inspect and test sampling equipment and ensure functionality, safety and compliance according to manufacturer specifications
- Identify the appropriate survey, sampling techniques and sampling type to be carried out according to workplace procedures
- Conduct surveys and sampling according to workplace procedures
- Identify and respond to hazardous and emergency situations according to workplace procedures
- Conduct primary analysis and respond to results
- Prepare written records and analyse the results of sampling and surveys
- Determine survey and sampling anomalies and actions that can be undertaken to rectify the anomalies
- Report anomalies and actions required to rectify to the relevant personnel
- Clean and maintain the plant and equipment, inspect to ensure serviceability and rectify or report any faults or issues to relevant personnel
- Process written maintenance records according to workplace procedures
